Cloud Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud Architect to lead our cloud infrastructure initiatives, architecture modernization, and platform scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, excellent leadership qualities, and the ability to influence and deliver in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a multi-year cloud strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architecture using industry-leading technologies.
  • Lead cloud migration projects and modernize legacy infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage cloud operations, cost optimization, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Ensure cloud security compliance and risk mitigation through adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices to improve collaboration and reduce time-to-market.
  • Establish and enforce governance policies including tagging, access control, and resource standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Mentor and lead cloud engineers, fostering team growth and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud initiatives and ensure seamless integration.
  • Track and report cloud KPIs to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with hands-on expertise in Azure (or AWS/GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, virtualization, and containerization.
  • Experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize cloud budgets and resources.
  • Hands-on experience with identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Security Certification (SC-100, SC-200, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent)
