About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled automation professional to join our technology team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions by designing developing and executing automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of software applications.
  • Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Execute automated test cases analyze results and report defects with detailed documentation.
  • Identify document and track software defects to resolution.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure system stability and scalability.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices tools and technologies in test automation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium Appium or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle SDLC and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python Java or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools.
  • Certification in software testing or quality assurance e.g. ISTQB CSTE.
