Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Specialist to design, deploy, and manage APIGEE Hybrid runtime on Kubernetes clusters.
  • The ideal candidate will perform installation, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of APIGEE Hybrid and APIGEE X environments.
  • Manage APIGEE runtime components within Kubernetes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with API teams to support API proxy deployments, troubleshoot runtime issues, and optimize platform performance.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for APIGEE platform deployments and API lifecycle management.
  • Monitor platform health, capacity planning, and perform troubleshooting for runtime and infrastructure issues.
  • Support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployment strategies.
  • Document platform architecture, operational procedures, and automation workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with APIGEE Hybrid platform deployment and runtime management.
  • Familiarity with APIGEE X and API management concepts.
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform for provisioning cloud and Kubernetes resources.
  • Strong skills in Bash/Shell scripting and Python for automation and operational tasks.
  • Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
  • Understanding of network security, firewall rules, and cloud security best practices.
