Job Title: Cloud Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in container native technologies, cloud environments, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate continuous integration pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deploy container platforms in various cloud environments.
  • Implement security measures related to container images, engines, and platform configurations.
  • Maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Manage container registries and application container images.
  • Create and maintain Kubernetes application manifests and automate application deployment.
  • Develop backup and restore services for container platforms.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to propose relevant solutions.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for the platform.
  • Evaluate relevant technologies and open-source software.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Linux system administration.
  • Docker Container and Kubernetes.
  • Networking and communication protocols (TCP and HTTP(S)).
  • Data storage and retrieval (File management, Object Store and Databases).
  • Virtualization, virtual-machines and cloud computing.
  • Open SSL.
  • Kubernetes / Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
