Job Title

A highly skilled professional is required to drive the development and implementation of packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products.

  • We are seeking an experienced individual with expertise in Pharma, Nutraceuticals/Cosmeceuticals, and FMC packaging industries.

The ideal candidate will possess a Full Time degree from IIP and have experience in Packaging Design & Development for new & existing products (Domestic & International).

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Project Initiatives: Business analysis, Spend analysis, Opportunity Analysis, Option generation, Portfolio analysis, Sourcing approach, Strategy creation & Implementation
  • Packaging Design & Development: New Product Development Project for Pharmaceuticals & Consumer Business, including Design & Development, Artwork Development, Transit Trials, Packaging Specification development, Stability studies, Prototype approval, Line trials, Cost negation, Packaging material delivery & Implementation.
  • Financial Delivery: Achieving cost savings for packaging materials through strategic buying initiatives.
  • Innovation: Generating new ideas around packaging - material, design & process, including new packaging material introduction, new material processing technique, innovation in packing & filling line, and latest printing and decoration techniques.
  • Vendor Development: Developing new / alternate vendors based on ideas generated and approved by business, including packaging material existing / new dosage forms, mould development and amortisation, and rate discussion with DSG.
  • Design Re-engineering: Design and appearance uplift for Emerging(ROW) and Regulated markets (US, EU and UK).
  • Project Management: Supporting new export customer requirement launch support (Biologics & Other Injectable), Packaging Procurement Operations (NPD), and ensuring timely packaging material supply for first commercial supply.
