Application Packaging Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our application packaging efforts. As a key member of our infrastructure services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of packaged applications to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Liaison: Handle customer requirements for application packaging as a single point of contact.
  • Windows Migration Projects: Collaborate on Windows 7/8/10 migration projects related to application packaging and testing.
  • Packaging Tools Mastery: Proficient in using Admin Studio/Install shield for packaging applications.
  • Scripting Expertise: Possess rich experience in VB/WMI scripting, batch scripting, PowerShell scripting, and PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.
  • Application Testing: Well-versed in application testing and remediation techniques for producing Windows 7/8 compatible applications using tools like ACT 5.6.
  • Virtual Builds: Expertise in working with VMware Workstation/Oracle Virtual Box on virtual builds.
  • Packaging Solutions: Knowledgeable about creating/repackaging applications using various packaging tools like Wise or Admin Studio.
  • Installer Technologies: Sound knowledge of Windows Installer Technologies - MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, Standard Actions.
  • Application Virtualization: Experienced in Application Virtualization Technologies, App-V 4.6, 5.0.
  • Troubleshooting: Skilled in troubleshooting using various tools like FileMon/RegMon, PictureTaker etc.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in application packaging.
  • Skills: Proficient in Windows operating systems, MS Office, and relevant software development skills.
