Senior Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for enhancing the company's local applications through development of change requests and implementing fixes on issues raised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level assistance to the company using the OutSystems platform to create new applications and their support.
  • Exhibit expert business knowledge and leverage strong customer relationships.
  • Lead the work of others, prioritizing, delegating, and reviewing assignments.
  • Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings.
  • Review designs with the business and lead efforts with the web and marketing team to increase the presence of web products.
  • Implement improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems.
  • Develop and define application scope and objectives, supervising the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications.
  • Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
  • Ensure unit test completion, system testing, and implementation according to plan.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience with OutSystems, C/C++ programming skills and operating system internals expertise.
  • Multi-platform and multi-dimensional experience with business and technical applications.
  • 3+ years of Front End User Interface and development experience.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux or Windows Kernel architecture.
  • Strong experience with web technologies, including REST, JSON, and XML Web Services.
  • Responsive Web Design experience to ensure compatibility with different devices.
  • Experience mentoring others and providing troubleshooting support preferred.
  • Multi database and/or multi language experience preferred.
