Job Title: Workplace Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Facility Operations Specialist to oversee the day-to-day management of our office premises in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, vendor handling, and team leadership. This role involves managing vendors, infrastructure maintenance, compliance, and smooth daily operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of office premises, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Manage housekeeping, security, cafeteria, and other facility-related services.
  • Negotiate contracts with service providers, manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Handle vendor payments and resolve disputes if any.
  • Monitor and manage utility services such as electricity, water, HVAC, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Plan and coordinate office space utilization, seating arrangements, and moves.
  • Prepare budgets for facility operations and control costs.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and handle emergency repairs.
  • Ensure proper functioning of security systems including CCTV, access control, and fire safety.
  • Coordinate for office events and support administrative requirements of all departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in facility management with strong vendor handling experience.
  • Good knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and facility management tools.
