Job Description:

The role of Chief Financial Officer is crucial for providing strategic leadership and operational financial management. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, leading forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling processes, implementing and enforcing budget control mechanisms, and consolidating financial data across businesses.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial forecasts and models to inform business decisions
  • Implement effective budget control measures to optimize financial performance and minimize risk
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights
  • Identify opportunities to drive profitability through cost optimization and process improvements

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering:

  • Provide expert financial guidance and support to senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's growth objectives
  • Drive business growth through insightful analysis and recommendations on capital allocation, ROI, and performance optimization

Negotiations & Contract Oversight:

  • Develop and manage complex financial and legal contracts to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Negotiate and execute agreements with clients, vendors, and employees to maximize value and minimize risk

Performance Management & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive performance management systems to drive employee engagement and accountability
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of transparency and open communication

Requirements include 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in investment firms, VC/PE-backed companies, or high-growth businesses. A strong track record in FP&A, budgeting, and cost optimization is essential. Hands-on experience in contract negotiations and deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting, tax, and legal frameworks are also required. Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance are strongly preferred.
