Senior Financial Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Leader to join our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles to drive business growth.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to the leadership team for informed decision-making.

Accounts and Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement best practices in financial reporting aligned with international standards.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and ensure accuracy in financial management information reports.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits from initiation to closure, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Ensure adherence to Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, FEMA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Taxation and Regulatory:

  • Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, filings, and assessments to ensure timely payment and adherence to statutory timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and implement necessary process updates to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Professional accounting designation such as CA
  • At least 10 years' experience in senior-level financial management positions in similar industries
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results-driven, strategic thinker, and planner
