Job Overview

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in executing daily business-as-usual (BAU) tasks within a highly controlled framework. Your expertise in signature validation for trade and payment instructions received from clients will be crucial in ensuring seamless transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently execute daily BAU tasks, maintaining strict adherence to established protocols.
  • Verify beneficiary account details during callbacks for outgoing payments, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
  • Publish and review daily/weekly performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Actively participate in forums such as Product, Client Service, and Strategy to analyze market changes, drive tech initiatives, and collaborate with Operations Control Management/Risk teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess extensive experience in custody fund services, markets, or prime brokerage operations, with a background in managing staff. You should also demonstrate flexibility, ability to meet tight deadlines, and skill in organizing and prioritizing work.

Essential Capabilities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to driving change and enhancing controls.
  • Ability to navigate a changing business environment, maintaining a control-focused agenda, and understanding program/project risk.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey strategic messages clearly and consistently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to effectively storyboard using PowerPoint, with a logical, structured approach to planning and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets products, transaction lifecycle in custody, and expertise in Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Collateral, and Derivatives.
