Cloud Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned cloud professional to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge cloud-native environments.

The ideal candidate will combine cloud expertise with DevOps knowledge to enhance system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Engineering (AWS)
  • Infrastructure Design: Craft secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure solutions for our clients.
  • Automated Provisioning: Leverage Terraform / CloudFormation and AWS SDKs to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Containerized Workloads: Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
Python Development
  • Automation Scripts: Develop automation scripts, deployment utilities, and infrastructure tooling using Python frameworks like Boto3, Flask, and FastAPI.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Create custom monitoring/alerting integrations with APIs, SDKs, and third-party observability platforms.
  • Resilience-focused Automation: Implement self-healing and resilience-focused automation scripts to ensure high system uptime.
Chaos Engineering & Resiliency
  • Chaos Experiments: Design and execute chaos experiments to validate system resilience and fault tolerance.
  • Tools and Frameworks: Utilize tools like Gremlin, Litmus, Chaos Mesh, or AWS Fault Injection Simulator for effective chaos engineering.
  • Partnerships and Documentation: Collaborate with SRE and development teams to define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets. Document learnings from chaos tests and improve incident response & recovery playbooks.
DevOps & Observability
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Observability Frameworks: Integrate observability frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, or Datadog for enhanced monitoring and tracing.
  • Alerting and Visibility: Ensure proactive alerting and real-time visibility into system health for prompt issue resolution.
Security & Compliance
  • Security Best Practices: Implement AWS security best practices for IAM, networking, and data protection to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
