Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Frontend Engineer to architect, code, and optimize high-traffic e-commerce experiences. You will be responsible for building and scaling modern React/Next.js applications that are fast, accessible, secure, and resilient.

  • Develop large-scale, production React/Next.js web apps for e-commerce.
  • Implement SSR/SSG, API routes/middleware, and reusable component libraries.
  • Integrate RESTful and GraphQL services; model clean contracts with backend teams.
  • Own state management (React Query, Redux, Zustand) and performance tuning.
  • Drive CI/CD, testing, and release quality; champion accessibility and security best practices.
  • Collaborate across Product, Design, and DevOps; lead code reviews and mentor engineers.

Must-have Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of web development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
  • 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript expertise with deep knowledge of modern tooling.
  • 3+ years of architecting large-scale, high-traffic e-commerce apps.
  • 2+ years of designing REST and/or implementing GraphQL.
  • 2+ years of cloud experience (preferably GCP).
  • 2+ years of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and Docker/Kubernetes experience.
  • Strong performance optimization, debugging, and observability skills.

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

  • Healthcare domain exposure (compliance, PII/PHI handling).
  • Testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • SEO, Web Vitals, micro-frontends, Vercel/Cloud Run experience.
