Digital Twin Consultant/Architect

The Armour Corporate Services team is seeking a highly skilled Unified Engineering Digital Twin Consultant/Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of digital twin solutions utilizing AVEVA Engineering and other industry-leading technologies.
This critical role enables clients to optimize processes, predict outcomes, and drive data-driven decision-making by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop digital twin models that enhance portfolio and solidify our leadership in the digital transformation space.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Collaboration: Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their specific business needs and requirements for digital twin implementations.
- Digital Twin Development: Design, develop, and deploy digital twin models using AVEVA Engineering solutions, ensuring accurate representation of real-world systems and processes through advanced data integration.
- 3D Model Integration: Work closely with EPC, in-house design, and planning teams to integrate 3D models and construction schedules, creating digital twin deliverables for enhanced project monitoring and tracking.
- Solution Optimization: Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of digital twin solutions, leading continuous improvement efforts to optimize performance.
- Technology Leadership: Stay updated on the latest trends in digital twin technology and identify opportunities to apply emerging techniques to the projects.
- Team Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the organization.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with sales and business development teams in pre-sales activities, including conducting technical presentations and workshops for potential clients.
- Project Execution: Lead end-to-end execution of digital twin projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines.
Requirements
- Strong client management and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of digital twin technologies, simulation methodologies, and data integration techniques.
- Proficiency in Bentley Synchro, AVEVA ERM, PRIMAVERA, MSP, Navisworks, Power-BI, AVEVA E3D, AVEVA PID, AVEVA DIAGRAMS, AVEVA NET, AVEVA AIM, AVEVA ENGAGE, and similar tools on the Hexagon platform like SP3D.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software from OEMs such as AVEVA, Hexagon, Autodesk, and Bentley.
- Expertise in creating dashboards and reports tailored to client specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 15+ years of overall work experience.
- 6-7 years of proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying digital twin solutions and deliverables (4D/5D/6D) across industries such as Oil and Gas, Construction, and Infrastructure.
