Senior Technical Strategist

About the Role:

The Senior Technical Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's business strategies, ensuring alignment with its mission, vision, and values. Success in this position is measured by the effective implementation of these strategies, resulting in maximized profitability and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements technical strategies for the engineering department to support achievement of the company's goals
  • Monitors status regularly and adjusts strategies as necessary
  • Develops the annual budget in conjunction with senior management
  • Participates in the development of the annual marketing, sales, and yield management plans and strategies
  • Continually improves hotel engineering department and adheres to brand standards
  • Maximizes profitability and revenue by directing the Engineering department
  • Manages the Engineering department and third-party vendors to ensure superior service and quality
  • Develops and implements quality control programs
  • Reviews contracts and negotiates revisions to contractual agreements with vendors, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Interprets plans and contract terms with the Engineering team, management, clients, and vendors
  • Maintains responsible business practices and training for the company
  • Manages hotel renovations, coordinates project status with regional offices, architects, licensing agencies, contractors, and hotel management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
