Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Memory Layout Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing memory compilers layouts and memory Fast Cache instances layouts for our next generation Cores.

Your outstanding skills will help us achieve exceptional Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) efficiency, enabling us to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop memory compilers layouts and memory Fast Cache instances layouts for our next generation Cores.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to propose changes based on layout implications and explore possible floor planning options.
  • Suggest improvements to existing layouts and contribute to the development of new ones.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree from a University or Engineering School in Electronic Engineering or equivalent Engineering Degree.
  • A basic understanding of CMOS Transistors and their behaviors.
  • An understanding of CMOS logic design and layout principles.
  • Knowledge of Power versus Performance versus Area trade-offs in typical CMOS design.
  • An engineering demeanor and passion for Circuit layouts.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • The ability to create high-quality design rule-driven layouts and perform backend verifications including EMIR analysis.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience:
  • A basic understanding of scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
  • Experience working on Cadence or Synopsys flows.
