**Job Title:** Financial Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our organization. This role is critical in managing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with US taxation and accounting standards for venture capital funds.

Fund Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers, journals, and financial statements for the fund.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Track fund performance, including cash flow management, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.

US Taxation Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with US taxation laws for venture capital funds.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in US tax regulations affecting the fund's operations and investor relations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and tax planning.

Payroll Management (Indian Employees) Responsibilities:

Oversee payroll processing for Indian employees, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.Manage salary calculations, bonuses, and deductions (e.g., Provident Fund, ESI, TDS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and handle related administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in financial accounting, fund accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in payroll management for Indian employees, with knowledge of Indian tax laws.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, preferably QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
