Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial accountant to join our team.


About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing and processing invoices and payments, reconciling bank statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and process financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.
