Job Title: IT Asset Management Professional

The position focuses on driving efficiency, cost optimization, and lifecycle governance of IT assets.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • This role involves overseeing Hardware Asset Management processes for accurate inventory tracking, asset optimization, and governance.
  • You will lead Software Asset Management programs ensuring license compliance, audit readiness, and effective vendor management.
  • Implement Cloud Insights practices to monitor, optimize, and report on cloud consumption and costs.
  • Maintain and govern Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset repositories, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IT governance standards.
  • Collaborate with teams for cost-effective asset management and reporting.
  • Conduct audits, reconciliations, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate IT asset-related risks.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on IT Asset Management processes, compliance, and tools.
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives within IT asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience in IT asset management, hardware asset management, software asset management, and cloud insights. You will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in IT asset management, preferably in a senior or leadership capacity.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of hardware and software asset management platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and educate staff.
  • A strong understanding of IT governance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
