Compliance Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the compliance function for all entities in India, including any other assigned territories. This role will require collaboration with regional and global compliance teams, senior management, and functional leaders to drive a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability.

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of the Code of Conduct, compliance policies, and procedures within India and assigned territories. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Implementation and Improvement of Compliance Policies
  • Effective Communication of Compliance Requirements
  • Participation in Ad-Hoc Compliance Projects

In addition to these responsibilities, the Compliance Manager will design and deliver local compliance training and education programs for employees, managers, and business partners. The position will also involve developing communication strategies to raise awareness of compliance requirements and ethical expectations.

Main Objectives:

  • To ensure timely updates and effective communication of global and regional compliance policies to employees.
  • To participate in ad-hoc compliance projects supporting the global reach of the function.
  • To manage conflict of interest disclosure process, review cases, and recommend mitigation measures.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of compliance programs, standards, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent, mature, and impartial in judgment, with the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English (mandatory) and Hindi.
