A high-voltage inverter mechanical design engineer is responsible for the development of the mechanical aspects of high-voltage inverters. The role involves designing and developing mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.
  • Familiarity with HV Inverter Mechanical Design and Development principles.
  • Broad understanding of High voltage Inverter components like Power modules, DC Link capacitor, EMC filter, Shielding's.
  • Knowledge on clearances and creepage distances.
  • Understanding of basic simulations on Structural, Thermal, etc.
  • Expertise in Unigraphics NX (Modelling, Drafting, Plastic & casting design, Generative sheet metal, Generative shape design, Digital Mockup).
  • Excellent drafting knowledge and adherence to international standards.
  • Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
