Software Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic R&D group.

  • Plan, design, and develop new features and capabilities for our microservices backend.
  • Maintain and improve existing infrastructure, tools, and workflows.
  • Ensure quality software delivery through automated component testing, end-to-end testing, and performance testing.
  • Explore and recommend innovative approaches to improve platform performance and scalability.

Our team is building and delivering the enablement platform for current and next-generation media experiences in the fields of personalization, content interaction, and social interaction. Key parts of the workflow include integrating with various video and audio live/VOD assets, personalized processing, and distribution across the world to end-users, while allowing collaboration among users in real-time.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from a leading university.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer in Python.
  • Strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, leveraging data modeling solutions for scalability and performance.
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, including REST APIs and message queues.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English communication.
Preferrable Skills
  • Experience in CI/CD environments (e.g., GHA, Jenkins).
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code development (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
