Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of System Infrastructure Engineer.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing resilient infrastructure solutions in collaboration with our product teams.
  • They will also operate, monitor, and troubleshoot all aspects of our production and non-production environments.
  • In addition, they will work closely with other engineers on code reviews, design enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Our System Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and integrating new technologies to improve system reliability, security, and performance.
  • They will also develop and implement automation tools to provision, configure, deploy, and monitor our systems.
  • Furthermore, this role will participate in an on-call rotation providing technical expertise during service-impacting events.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Site Reliability Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience.
  • A strong understanding of SRE principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, capacity planning, automation, and toil reduction.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
  • Experience managing and scaling distributed systems in a cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration using Kubernetes or similar technologies.
