Job Title:

Leading System Engineering and Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

We seek a motivated and technically skilled System Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in networking, programming/scripting, and modern system practices, with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

The System Engineering and Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments. This includes developing and maintaining tools and scripts for automation using Go, C, or Shell scripting, as well as monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments

- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts using Go, C, or Shell scripting

- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and reliability

- Ensure security best practices across the infrastructure

- Collaborate with developers to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve system efficiency

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)

- 5-8 years of experience in system engineering, infrastructure, or system administration

- Strong programming/scripting skills in at least one : Go, C, or Shell

- Solid understanding of networking concepts : L2/L3, TCP/UDP/IP, DHCP, DNS

- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and troubleshooting at the OS/network level

Preferred Skills :

- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)

- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Team player with a collaborative approach

- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
