We're seeking a seasoned Senior Storage Solutions Professional with extensive expertise in designing, integrating and optimizing storage solutions for complex enterprise environments. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert storage guidance to our systems integration team for deploying cloud director with various storage backends.
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering teams to inform design decisions and troubleshoot complex storage-related issues.
  • Advise our pre-sales engineers during customer solution design, POCs and RFP responses on optimal storage approaches.
Storage Architecture Expertise:
  • Deep knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions including architecture design, implementation strategies and integrations.
  • Expertise in designing and documenting best practice architectures for integrating cloud director with diverse storage solutions including fibre channel, iSCSI, NFS, S3 and VMware RDM.
  • Ability to guide and support integrations with vendor-specific storage solutions ensuring performance, reliability and scalability.
  • Participation in solution validation, lab testing and reference architecture development.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Development and maintenance of internal best practice guides for storage-related topics relevant to OpenStack and cloud director.
  • Creation of external customer-facing guides and knowledge base articles to improve deployment success and reduce support escalations.
  • Conducting technical enablement sessions for our professional services, pre-sales and support teams.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  • Staying current with evolving storage technologies, protocols and best practices in cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaboration with our engineering teams to identify product enhancements that improve storage interoperability and performance.
  • Proactive suggestion of improvements to our delivery methodologies for storage integration.
