Senior System Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and overall infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining remote IT infrastructure and providing on-site support when required.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect and implement large-scale IT projects, such as high availability, virtualization, and cloud services.
  • Serving as an escalation path for issues that cannot be resolved by desktop engineers or helpdesk staff.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong technical skills and excellent communication and customer service skills. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and possesses exceptional time management skills.

A minimum of 5 years of experience administering, configuring, optimizing, and maintaining Windows-based networks and servers is essential. Strong experience with Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 administration, and Windows security is also necessary. Familiarity with firewalls, switches (Cisco, SonicWALL, Dell, Fortinet), heavily virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V), on-premise and cloud-based backup solutions, and cloud-based email systems (O365, GSuite) is desirable.
