Job Title: Senior System Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

\

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our hosting product support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our products.

\

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Monitor the stability of our products using various internal tools.\
  • L1/L2 Support ownership of all hosting products (cpanel/plesk/vps/cloud/dedicated).\
  • Handle incident response, troubleshooting, and fixes for various products/services.\
  • Handle escalations as per policies/procedures.\
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to resolve production site issues effectively.\
  • Communicate clearly on tickets and phone calls about various issues.\
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency to resolve issues.\
  • Develop advanced automation workflows to automate repeated issues.\
  • Work with the infrastructure team to deploy and maintain Linux/Windows servers using automated scripts and predefined runbooks.\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • \
  • A graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.\
  • Consistently strong academic performance.\
  • Good understanding of Linux Systems.\
  • Familiarity with any shell/bash, sed/awk/grep/egrep, VI/VIM/Emacs, netstat, lsof, strace, ps/top/atop/dstat, grub boot config & systems rescue, fstab/disk labels, ext3/ext4, IPtables, sysstat.\
  • Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003/2008, NTFS chkdisk/acls etc.\
  • Ability to troubleshoot system/application faults using Event logs.\
  • Basic DNS & Networking knowledge.\
  • Application Protocol knowledge (SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP).\
  • Ability to work in shifts (including night shifts and holidays).\
