About the Role:

Position Title: Corporate Credit Analyst

Corporate Title: Manager

Job Overview:

Purpose of Role:

  • We manage the credit analysis function for corporate clients worldwide.
  • The Credit Analysis team collaborates closely with GCIB bankers, Product partners and Credit approvers to identify optimal risk / return on lending opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and conduct thorough due diligence on borrowers / industry.
  • Coordinate end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings according to our credit processes and procedures in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers / Senior Credit Analysts in ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections

Candidate Profile:

  • Significant experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank environment, asset manager or rating agency environment.
  • An emphasis on credit analysis in the context of a transaction or event is required.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA / CFA / MBA Finance)

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents would be beneficial.
