Job Overview

This role involves designing and supporting a standard cell library from scratch. The ideal candidate will have experience in PPA trade-off analysis between different cell circuit architectures in realistic usage environments.

  • Developing and maintaining the standard cell library to meet design requirements.
  • Collaborating with the layout team to define floor plans and layout guidelines for schematics, as well as conducting thorough layout reviews to achieve optimal designs.
  • Conducting verification of functionality, performance, and power of developed circuits, including characterization and views generation of libraries with custom PVT corners.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of design flows and reports, and automating manual tasks to reduce overall time and effort.

A strong understanding of combinatorial, power management, and sequential circuits is required, along with expertise in running equivalence verification (e.g., ESPCV). Experience with standard EDA tools such as RC-extraction, SPICE simulators, and schematic/layout editors is mandatory, including working with views like lef, NLDM, CCS, and .LIB.

Key Requirements
