Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our team as a Proposal Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating proposals for automation projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of high-quality proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate proposals for automation projects, including writing technical content, creating visual aids, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and procurement, to gather information and ensure timely delivery of proposals.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify customer needs and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals to customers, including creating presentations, writing reports, and developing visual aids.
  • Ensure that all proposals are accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including responding to inquiries and providing technical support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply that knowledge to improve proposal development processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in automation engineering, proposal development, or a related field.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise proposals and reports.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and procurement.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical information and develop clear and concise proposals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with proposal development software and tools, such as MS Project and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, computer science, or business.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Experience with industry-specific software and tools, such as DCS design software.
