Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative professional to join our team as a Storyteller and Content Creator. The successful candidate will have a passion for capturing authentic stories and turning them into compelling narratives across various formats.

About the Role:

The Storyteller and Content Creator will be responsible for conducting interviews and conversations with beneficiaries and stakeholders to capture engaging stories. They will document these stories in clear, concise, and captivating formats (articles, short write-ups, social media captions, case studies, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and gather information from various sources.
  • Develop and implement effective content strategies to engage diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to generate fresh ideas for content.
  • Support in designing visual content such as social media posts, presentations, or reports using design tools like Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (ongoing or completed) in Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Media Studies, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • Candidates from Design, Fine Arts, or related disciplines with strong writing skills are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interviewing and documentation abilities, comfortable talking to people and drawing out stories.
  • Ability to write across formats: from short social media copy to long-form articles.
  • Good organizational skills to manage multiple stories and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.) is a significant plus.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
