The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical requirements.
This role requires a high degree of organizational skills, negotiation abilities, and analytical prowess to identify and finalize vendors for electrical products, negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules, and review SLDs and BOQs to ensure purchases align with project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and select qualified suppliers for electrical products.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Review and verify purchase orders, sales invoices, and delivery documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project teams, vendors, and internal customers.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with procurement processes, including supplier performance, product quality, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Skills & Attributes:
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
