Process Engineer Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to lead our projects in the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in process engineering, with a strong background in oil and gas, petrochemical, and refinery plants.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in process and project engineering, covering all stages of the oil and gas sector, from concept and FEED to detailed design for both greenfield and brownfield projects in onshore and offshore environments.

  • They will have hands-on expertise with industry-standard simulation tools such as HYSYS, FLARENET, OLGA, and ASPEN.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement in safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • They will develop and implement process optimization strategies to maximize production output while minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact.

  • Additionally, they will conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the viability and safety of proposed process modifications or new installations.

  • They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, engineer, and implement process improvements, including equipment upgrades, procedural changes, and automation solutions.

  • The successful candidate will also monitor and analyze process data, operational parameters, and performance indicators to identify deviations, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.

  • They will conduct process simulations and modeling to optimize operating conditions and predict the performance of new processes.

  • Furthermore, they will develop and maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and equipment specifications.

  • They will provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams to ensure proper execution of process-related activities.

  • The successful candidate will stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to oil and gas production processes.

  • Finally, they will participate in safety audits, incident investigations, and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.


Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Process Engineer in the oil and gas industry, preferably in upstream or downstream operations, is necessary.

  • Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, including process design, optimization, and troubleshooting, is essential.

  • Familiarity with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, PRO/II) and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) is advantageous.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders are required.
