Job Title: Technical Design Director

This role will oversee the technical design function within our organization, responsible for leading the development of garments and managing relationships with vendors.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Liaise between HQ technical design team and factories to ensure efficient production processes;
  • Co-manage the building of blocks with vendors to optimize quality and efficiency;
  • Review and develop tools for fit standards to improve overall product quality;
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills in English to effectively lead projects and meetings;

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in garment development, including woven & knit tops, dresses, technical outerwear, tailored garments, soft bottoms, equestrian show apparel. They should possess a trained eye for proportion, balance, and aesthetic details, as well as the ability to command a room and lead projects.

">Requirements:">
  • Extensive experience working with factories, understanding equipment, garment cutting/sewing/QA/QC process;
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Adobe Illustrator, MS Office Suite, Centric PLM (or similar PLM system), and 2D patternmaking systems (Accumark a plus);
  • 3D experience (CLO a plus);
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to vendors and factories in India, BD, Indonesia, VTM;
