Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate SEO Manager with a proven track record in strategizing, executing, and managing comprehensive SEO campaigns for enterprise-level businesses.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, coupled with a deep understanding of analytics to derive actionable insights.
This role demands exceptional client management, people leadership, and a data-driven approach to optimize performance.
Experience in e-commerce SEO is highly preferred.
You will lead a talented team, ensuring smooth client relations and seamless project delivery while pushing for continuous growth and innovation in SEO strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication, managing expectations, and providing strategic guidance to drive results.
- SEO Strategy & Planning: Design and implement advanced SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and off-page domains that align with the business goals of clients, particularly in the enterprise and e-commerce sectors.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of SEO specialists and content creators, fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring productivity and job satisfaction.
- Tech SEO Expertise: Lead technical SEO audits, diagnosing crawl issues, improving site speed, and optimizing for mobile and accessibility standards, ensuring adherence to the latest search engine guidelines.
- On-Page & Off-Page SEO Mastery: Oversee keyword research, metadata optimization, content structure improvements, and the development of link-building campaigns, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Performance Analytics: Leverage data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other advanced tools to analyze performance patterns, identify opportunities for growth, and report on key KPIs to both clients and internal stakeholders.
- E-commerce SEO Optimization: Develop and execute specialized SEO strategies for e-commerce clients, optimizing for product pages, category structure, and internal linking while driving organic traffic and conversions.
- Client Reporting: Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports to clients that break down SEO performance, trends, and actionable insights to demonstrate ROI.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the development, UX, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all web projects and marketing campaigns.
- Innovative Thinking: Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO technologies, continuously adapting strategies to stay competitive.
- Crisis Management: Proactively identify and resolve potential issues that may impact SEO performance, from algorithm penalties to client concerns, with swift, effective solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple SEO projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are aligned with client objectives.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven SEO Expertise: 4+ years of experience in SEO, with a significant focus on enterprise and e-commerce SEO strategies, technical SEO, and content optimization.
- Client Management Experience: Extensive experience working directly with clients, understanding their goals, and translating them into effective SEO strategies with a focus on long-term partnerships.
- Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring teams of SEO professionals, fostering a positive, productive environment.
- Analytical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools, with a data-driven mindset to derive insights and form strategies.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines, client needs, and team workload effectively.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex SEO concepts for non-technical stakeholders and delivering persuasive reports.
- Results-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to meet or exceed organic traffic, ranking, and conversion goals across large-scale SEO campaigns.
