Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Corporate Portfolio Manager.

This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who have experience in managing complex corporate relationships, financial analysis, and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth and profitability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage mid-market and emerging large corporates
  • Regularly monitor borrower accounts, conduct follow-ups, and maintain updates on developments in respective borrower accounts
  • Provide advisory services to borrowers in turnaround situations, including liquidity concerns, viability studies, sustainable business planning, and rehabilitation packages
  • Manage stressed assets through interactions with companies, performance monitoring, benchmarking, adherence to stipulated terms, site visits, etc.
  • Monitor exposures to enable proactive actions when required, reviewing credit files, financials, security documentation, and current status
  • Design and implement suitable early warning triggers for allocated accounts, closely monitoring the portfolio, reviewing operational and financial performance, monthly cash flows, economic cycles, and applicable industries
  • Formulate recovery strategies post-factoring appropriate legal options
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from a reputable institution
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in Banking, Asset Reconstruction Companies, or Big 4 Consultancy firms
Technical Competencies

The ideal candidate should possess the following technical competencies:

  • Knowledge of reading and understanding entity financials, involving credit analysis
  • Knowledge of various industries
  • Knowledge of RBI guidelines for stressed assets and restructuring
  • Reasonable knowledge of legal forums and applicable laws, including IBC, SARFAESI, commercial suits, contract laws, etc.
  • Satisfactory note-making skills and good command over written and spoken communication
