Civil Structural Engineer Job Overview

As a skilled Civil and Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive engineering and design support for various industrial structures across the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with offshore teams to provide extended engineering support as required. You will assist sales teams with business development and understand client requirements for various projects. Additionally, you will visit client locations for technical discussions based on project needs.

  • Lead civil and structural teams and provide engineering support to customers' engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for approval of engineering designs and drawings.
Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a major in Structural Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of industrial structural design experience is also required.

Familiarity with various codes (ACI 318, ASCE, AISC, IBC etc.) and structural design software (STAAD, SAFE, ETABS etc.) is essential. Effective oral and written communication skills are also necessary for success in this position.
