Job Title: Project Coordinator

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Maintain accurate records of project progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Design Oversight:
    • Review and finalize design concepts, specifications, and documentation.
    • Ensure design elements align with client requirements, budget, and industry standards.
    • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to procure materials and services.
  • Budget Management:
    • Establish and monitor project budgets, identifying areas for cost reduction and optimization.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors, ensuring fair prices and delivery schedules.
    • Manage cost variations, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded where possible.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management:
    • Identify, evaluate, and select suitable vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
    • Negotiate contracts, including terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
    • Monitor vendor performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
    • Address and rectify non-conformance issues, maintaining a safe working environment.
    • Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Schedule & Timeline Management:
    • Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
    • Communicate schedule changes and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
    • Ensure timely completion of milestones and final delivery.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:
    • Maintain open, transparent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Provide regular status updates, reports, and insights, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
    • Manage client expectations, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential project risks, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
    • Monitor and address unforeseen issues, maintaining a proactive risk management approach.
    • Continuously improve risk management processes, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Post-Project Evaluation:
    • Conduct thorough project evaluations, gathering feedback from clients and stakeholders.
    • Identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance future project success.
    • Document lessons learned, sharing best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in a field related to this role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a design or technical support role, preferably in the modular furniture manufacturing industry.
