About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Veterinary Consultant to join our team at petexpert-connect. As a full-time consultant, you'll be responsible for guiding students in small animal healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and train students in foundational and applied animal health practices
  • Design, update, and deliver course content based on real-world veterinary standards
  • Demonstrate procedures and tools used in everyday veterinary practice
  • Lead interactive sessions, workshops, and hands-on training to support learners
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure training stays relevant and up-to-date

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) or higher qualification
  • Clear communication skills and comfort in teaching
  • Some experience in education or training is an advantage
  • Strong sense of responsibility and care for student learning outcomes
