Job Title

As a seasoned chemist, we are seeking an expert in animal health formulations to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and optimizing formulations for dog and cat syrups, tonics, and nutraceutical supplements.

  • Develop novel formulations that cater to the specific needs of dogs and cats.
  • Source suitable excipients, preservatives, flavors, and stabilizers that meet industry standards.
  • Supervise small-scale batch preparation, including mixing, filtration, filling, capping, and labeling.
  • Provide guidance and training to the production team on formulation and quality control procedures.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct routine quality control tests, including pH, clarity, taste, viscosity, and appearance assessments.
  • Approve or reject incoming raw materials, ensuring they meet specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of stability samples and quality control data.
  • Prepare and maintain batch manufacturing records (BMRs).
  • Ensure seamless communication with regulatory bodies and auditors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master's degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.), Food Technology, Veterinary Science, or Nutraceuticals preferred.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in pet health supplements / veterinary nutraceuticals / animal syrups or tonic manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience in both formulation and quality control for dog and cat products.
Desired Skills
  • Proficiency in veterinary nutraceutical ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and herbal extracts safe for dogs and cats.
  • Practical experience with syrup/tonic production processes, including mixing, filtration, and filling.
  • Excellent documentation habits and ability to maintain accurate records.
