Senior Infrastructure Strategist

To ensure a company's IT systems and services operate smoothly, we seek a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Strategist. This individual will design, implement, manage, and support the infrastructure that enables our organization to run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plans for designing, procuring, installing, upgrading, operating, controlling, maintaining, and effectively utilizing specific technology services
  • Apply standard approaches and established design patterns to create new designs for systems or system components
  • Ensure well-engineered results by adhering to agreed standards and using appropriate tools
  • Update product designs to automate routine system administration tasks using standard tools and software development practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
  • 3 years of hands-on experience working with network and system administration for Linux, Unix, and Windows servers
  • Experience with disaster recovery, data backup solutions, Commvault, Acronis, cloud and virtualization platforms
  • Proficiency in virtualization, Vmware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and familiarity with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Understanding of virtual networks, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Scripting and automation skills in Bash or PowerShell, and familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, DevOps practices
  • Experience with Git, IaC, observability, CI/CD, and security best practices
  • Problem-solving ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Product and customer-centric approach
  • Experience with other programming languages like Python, Java is a plus
