Job Title: IT Application Owner - Home Loan Savings

At F337 Deutsche India Private Limited, Pune Branch, we are seeking an experienced IT Application Owner to join our Home Loan Savings team. As an IT Application Owner, you will be responsible for the COBOL applications of the Home Loan Savings domain in cooperation with German teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany software development projects with a focus on system stability and the successful transfer to production.
  • Ensure structural availability, stability, and performance of the applications on production and test environments.
  • Establish processes to ensure the lifecycle management of the respective applications.
  • Ensure the application's compliance with Deutsche Bank IT policies, including security monitoring, roadmap compliance, access management, and SoD.
  • Facilitate Disaster Recovery activities by reviewing DR plans and coordinating the execution of DR exercises for the application.
  • Organize the 3rd level application support of the domain in collaboration with our external vendors and define a long-term sourcing strategy for the applications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, with ITIL knowledge a plus.
  • Experience in COBOL and database is a must, with other open-source skills a good to have.
  • Experience with tooling across the Software development Lifecycle/DevOps, including Jira, HP ALM, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience in application governance.
  • Strong ability to manage unexpected events, control, and deal with them quickly and efficiently.
  • Pro-active team player with very good communication and excellent English language skills for interacting with stakeholders, with German language skills a big plus.
  • Experience with working together with Agile/SCRUM teams and their methods and tooling.
  • Home Loan Savings know-how and Mortgage Lending know-how are a big plus.
  • Experience in GCP or other Cloud technologies is good to have.
