We are seeking an accomplished Lead Architect to spearhead our residential luxury villa projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in architecture and a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise.
About the Role:
The successful Lead Architect will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive planning, design, and execution of architectural and master planning projects. Key responsibilities include project leadership, feasibility analysis, stakeholder coordination, meetings management, consultant review, standards compliance, reporting, cross-disciplinary collaboration, regulatory adherence, site oversight, design solutions, and final inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct architecture, plotting, and master planning efforts to ensure high-quality outputs and timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with the land acquisition team to assess project feasibility and prepare necessary test-fits.
- Work alongside sales, project managers, and consultants to synchronize space programs and project timelines.
- Schedule and lead project kick-off and weekly review meetings with consultants and internal teams to ensure progress and address challenges.
- Critically evaluate and provide constructive feedback on consultant deliverables throughout various stages of project development.
- Support all planning, design, and implementation activities in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Develop comprehensive feasibility reports, design proposals, and engaging presentations tailored for internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with MEP engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects to refine and finalize design concepts.
- Ensure all designs comply with Indian building codes, standards, and relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution quality, provide guidance, and document observations.
- Address design-related challenges proactively, offering effective solutions to construction teams with necessary technical guidance.
- Oversee snagging and final inspections prior to project handover, ensuring completion meets all specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) is mandatory; a Master's degree in Architecture or Urban Planning is advantageous.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint presentation creation and delivery is essential.
- Advanced knowledge of SketchUp and hands-on experience are required; familiarity with USGBC and Revit is an added advantage.
- Prior experience working on-site is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in architecture
- Experience in real estate design management.
