Job Overview

The Head of Finance is responsible for leading the finance function, driving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to ensure accurate financial information.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Implement internal controls and risk management practices to mitigate financial risks.
  • Partner with operational teams to optimize cost control and revenue management.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Manage vendor relationships, payment cycles, and disbursements to suppliers and service partners.
  • Conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions to improve financial performance.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent with experience in hospitality/banqueting/catering.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls, and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
