Senior Telecommunications System Designer

Deliver leading edge technology solutions to various clients across multiple sectors by developing and publishing telecommunications designs.
- Develop detailed designs for ICT & Telecommunications Systems, including Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), Communications Rooms, Outside Plant Infrastructure (OSP), Active ICT Networks, Wireless LAN and Wi-Fi modelling, RF Systems, and Technology platforms and systems.
- Prepare reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings to facilitate the tendering of works and enable a suitably qualified integrator/contractor to undertake the installation and commission of the systems and solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and contractors throughout project duration.
- Mentor junior and graduate engineers within a multi-discipline design team.
- Master's degree in Electronic, Computer Systems, or Telecommunications course of study or Master's degree in Information Technology (Networks).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Preferably past experience in mentoring.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience in leading, producing, and checking ICT and Telecommunications designs.
- Deep understanding of Network design principles and significant experience working in critical environments.
