Job Title: Senior Plumbing and Fire Fighting Systems Designer

  • Create concept designs, schematic designs, design developments, and construction designs for plumbing and firefighting systems as per architect's layouts, client requirements, and specifications.
  • Produce detailed drawings of plumbing and firefighting systems, including waste, soil, rainwater, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
  • Prepare accurate calculations and notes, if required, and submit shop drawings for review and resubmission.
  • Select and prepare materials for submission, contact suppliers for technical documents, and take off BOQs of firefighting and plumbing systems.
  • Develop comprehensive information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs, and construction times.
  • Collaborate with consultants to determine MEP function and spatial requirements, and coordinate closely with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural teams.
  • Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents, plan project layouts, and prepare scale drawings.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors in preparing technical reports and installation on site, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 10-25 years of experience in plumbing and fire fighting system design.
