Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our Sports Management Unit. The role is instrumental in executing one of the largest community-based sports initiatives aimed at developing sports infrastructure and programs.

About the Position

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations of the Sports for Development program, coordinate with stakeholders, manage tournaments and events, conduct field visits, and ensure compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Implementation & Operations: Oversee daily operations, coordinate with coaches, and ensure compliance with attendance, coaching, equipment, and operational standards.
  • Project Management: Manage relationships with government departments, represent the organization in meetings, plan micro-level activities, maintain MIS, track KPIs, and support reporting, budgeting, and logistics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build partnerships with local leaders, align efforts with district sports departments, lead community outreach through schools, religious centers, and local campaigns.
  • Talent Identification & Academy Coordination: Support coaches in identifying and developing youth talent, coordinate with academies for talent progression, organize trials, and manage related documentation.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Document success stories, field insights, and learnings, support the creation of training materials and SOPs, capture field media for visibility and fundraising.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience or Master's degree with at least 5-7 years of similar experience.
  • Proven ability to engage and build rapport with government stakeholders.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Punjab.
