Content Editor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled content editor to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality sports content.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent writing and editing skills, and a passion for sports.

  • Edit and publish articles daily, ensuring high-quality content that resonates with readers.
  • Fine-tune content to enhance its impact and relevance after publication.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate published content.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to optimize article performance metrics.
  • Mentor and guide writers to help them grow and evolve as contributors to the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Media/ Journalism, or similar discipline.
  • 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or similar roles.
  • Strong energy, creativity, and leadership skills to drive team success.
  • Possess basic understanding of SEO principles and ability to craft engaging headings and subheadings.
  • Passion for sports and eagerness to cover breaking news, live events, and in-depth analyses.

This role requires working six days a week, aligning with a schedule that meets the needs of our US audience.
