Job Description:

At our fast-paced newsroom, we're on a mission to redefine how fans engage with sports content. As a Lead Content Editor, you'll play a key role in shaping the narrative and delivering high-quality content that resonates with readers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish 20-25 articles daily, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Work closely with writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate content through fact-checking, research, and feedback.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance article performance metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and guide writers, helping them grow and evolve as contributors to the team.
  • Stay up-to-date on breaking news, ensuring timely publication and maintaining the trust of our readers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Media/Journalism, or similar discipline.
  • 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or related roles.
  • Strong command of the English language and understanding of American culture.
  • Energy, creativity, and passion for storytelling, combined with leadership skills to inspire and motivate the team.
