Business Analyst - IT Specialist

The role of a Business Analyst in an IT environment involves strategic planning and execution to meet business needs. Our team requires a skilled professional who can effectively communicate, drive, and manage the business analysis effort throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

A key responsibility of this position is linking technical solutions with business strategy when collaborating with business partners. The ideal candidate will be able to capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements accurately.

This includes assessing and modeling processes, data flows, and technology to understand current issues and identify opportunities for improvement. Effective stakeholder management skills are also crucial in making stakeholders feel valued and developing trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the BA approach; communicating, driving and managing the business analysis effort for the portfolio/program throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Link technical solutions with business strategy when working with business partners.
  • Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead stakeholder management activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in corporate IT experience with IT BA experience.
  • Experience in data visualizations and reporting for easy consumption by stakeholders.
  • Minimum Education or Certification: Bachelor's Degree related to IT (MBA preferred).
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and tools.
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts and data/process analysis and modeling.
